Q: Does my school have to be a ‘Christian’ school to use this service?

A: Yes, we are a service for exclusively Christian schools and Christian churches.

Q: If I sign up today, when will I receive my first messages?

A: Your first Ministry Spotlight email will be shared by 8 AM on the first Tuesday after all sign-up forms (both school and church) are completed.

Q: What do I do if I don’t receive the message on Tuesday morning?

A: If you do not receive your weekly message by 8 AM Tuesday in your time zone. Please first check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes, the initial communication mistakenly is directed to folders that are not in your inbox. If you still are unable to locate your message, please message support@ministryspotlight.com

Q: How do I change the contact information for the principal or church communications coordinator?

A: Change is part of life and we want to ensure that you are benefitting from the Ministry Spotlight service. At the bottom of each Ministry Spotlight email, there is a link to “Update Preferences” where you can make any of the changes you need or click this link here. Q: What if the weekly message doesn’t fit what I want to say that week?

A: We expect that you will need to communicate events and other announcements for your school from time to time. We share the Ministry Spotlight message by 8 AM on Tuesday to give you enough time to communicate directly with your church that you would prefer to use a different message. It is up to you to make any changes in communications each week.

Q: Our school doesn’t use credit cards, how can I pay for this service?

A: Our payment system not only takes credit and debit card payments, but on request you can enter your school’s banking routing and account information for an ACH (automated clearing house) electronic payment.

Q: What happens whem my subscription ends?

A: Billing is on an annual basis. Ministry Spotlight is designed to be a seamless, turn-key campaign. All plans are written, designed, and scheduled ahead for the year. Your school will have an opportunity to renew or make changes to your subscription on a yearly basis. You will be alerted when there are 30 days left on your current subscription. Unless otherwise indicated by your school, you will automatically be billed for another year.

You can either use a debit card/credit card or we can connect to your school’s bank with ACH if requested.

Q: I represent a group of Christian schools, is there a way to get a group incentive?

A: Yes, we love working with Christian school associations, conferences, unions, as well as groups of schools and churches. Please contact info@ministryspotlight.com to learn more.

Q: What if I am a qualified Partnering For Eternity (PFE) scholarship school?

A: As a bonus for Ministry Spotlight clients that participate with the Partnering For Eternity (PFE) scholarship program, we have created 4 additional A/V slides that help your school with finding mentors and communicating the value of PFE program. This is our gift to your school! Please make sure you check the box on your school’s sign-up form. The SFFC Foundation’s mission is to help trusted partners’ philanthropic dreams come true. We currently do that primarily through Partnering For Eternity (PFE) Scholarship for K-12 private Christian schools, Nourish Grants for individuals/families, and Community Grants to support nonprofit organizations’ programming.

As of July 2020, Partnering for Eternity has invested over $10 million into Christian education, conducted over 700,000 hours of visits, and created countless meaningful relationships. Partnering for Eternity is currently being operated in over 200 partner schools nationwide.

Q: Help, I have more than 1 church that I want to receive the Ministry Spotlight messages!

A: Each church needs to complete their own signup form, you can fill it out on their behalf, or you can forward the message to them each Tuesday morning. After you finish setting up your payment plan, there are directions and links to help you sign up more than the single church included. Please note, schools will be charged an additional $5/month ($60/year) for each additional church. It is best to ensure that you have communicated with each church that plans to participate so they can anticipate the communications and not delay the Spotlight messages from being shared in that church.

Q: What languages does Ministry Spotlight support?

A: At this time, Ministry Spotlight messages are available in English, Spanish, Korean, French and Russian translations.

Q: Can I make changes to the subscription that I already placed?

Q: I no longer wish to use this service, how do I stop it?

A: Please email support@ministryspotlight.com and ask to ‘Unsubscribe’ from the Ministry Spotlight service. At that point, recurring annual billing and weekly Spotlight emails will be stopped.

Q: Can Ministry Spotlight be used on social media?

A: At this time, the messages are designed to be used in your church’s print communications and the slides for display during your church services. However, if you have a special request please email support@ministryspotlight.com. We are planning to offer a social media format soon.
